Objective

Career Quest is an immersive career exploration journey for adolescents, designed to expose them to various career paths while highlighting the impact of gender and stereotypes on choices. It aims to equip players with skills like reflection, research, and negotiation to make informed career decisions. The game also allows students to explore different scenarios and influences in the career decision-making process.

My role

Being a small team of 4 people working on a game with 8 characters each with multiple branching arcs meant that I was involved in almost every stage of the pipeline, from conceptualising the characters to writing their stories to proof reading translations to adding the assests on our story creation interface. However my major role was to write the character stories and dialogues and coming up with game mechanics along with the team which helped translate career development concepts.
